A practice built on substance.
Fulworth Education is an independent admissions and academic advisory practice for students drawn to computer science, AI, engineering, mathematics and the sciences, and for the families supporting them through applications to selective universities in the US, UK and Singapore.
Most admissions help arrives late and works on presentation. We start earlier and work on the substance: what a student is genuinely curious about, what they are building or reading or arguing with, and how to make good decisions about it over years rather than weeks. The writing and the work stay the student's own.

Founder-led, deliberately small.
One advisor, start to finish
You work with our founder directly. Nothing is handed to a junior associate, and every proposal states exactly who a student will work with.
Depth over packaging
We would rather help a student do one thing properly than assemble a portfolio of activities chosen for how they look on a form.
Honest counsel
That includes telling families when they do not need us, when a plan is unrealistic, and when a student is better served elsewhere.

I served as an MIT Admissions Interviewer, and I have mentored students who went on to receive offers of admission from MIT, Harvard, Stanford, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, New York University and Nanyang Technological University.
I can follow the substance of a student's technical work and ask about the parts that matter, rather than responding only to how a project is described. That matters for students whose best work is hard to evaluate from the outside.

What the experience reinforced
As an MIT Admissions Interviewer, our founder met applicants for the conversations that form one part of an application. Interviewers do not make admissions decisions, and he did not serve as an admissions officer or committee member. Nothing from any individual interview informs this practice.
What the role did reinforce is the idea Fulworth is built on: students are at their most convincing when they talk about work they genuinely own. It is very hard to fake, and very easy to recognise.
Why Fulworth exists
Students deserve more than last-minute polishing. Our work begins with understanding who they are, what they care about, and how to make good decisions over time.
If specialist advisers join as the practice grows, they will be introduced here with accurate biographies. Our founder has also been involved in volunteer education leadership, which is separate work and carries no weight in any competition or selection process.
