Accessibility statement

We want everyone, including families using assistive technology, older devices or slow connections, to be able to learn about Fulworth Education, register for webinars and get in touch.

Our target

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is our target, which we check regularly; it is not a certification.

What we've done

• Text and interface colours are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios, and status is never shown by colour alone.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, has a visible focus indicator and a “skip to main content” link.
• Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks and labelled form fields. Form errors are summarised at the top of the form and linked to each field.
• Forms are built on standard HTML and work without JavaScript, except where a bot-protection check is switched on. Nothing times out while you are filling one in.
• Event times are shown in the event's time zone and, where different, your own.
• Animations are minimal and respect the “reduce motion” setting.
• Pages reflow to narrow screens and remain usable when zoomed to 200% or more.

Known limitations

• Some features rely on other providers, such as a bot-protection check on forms (which needs JavaScript) or an online scheduling page, whose accessibility we don't control. If one of them causes you a problem, contact us and we'll help another way.
• Webinar platforms vary. If you need captions or another adjustment for a live session, please tell us in advance.
